Inside the Codex Rotundus lays a 266 page book of hours in Latin and French.
The manuscript is unique in form and size: the pages are cut approximately circular in shape and measure a little over 9cm in diameter. The book binding feat here is enormous: since the layers are bound together on a mere 3cm book spine, the body of the book must be held together by 3 clasps.
The original clasps were re-used when the book was rebound in the 17th century; each clasp an artful monogram shaped in the form of different gothic alphabetic letters.
Yet ppl don’t understand how white privilege still exists in brown n black countries
Shouldn’t Japan technically be on the partial European colonization and control, even though the country was forced to open from its isolation by the Americans, once America made Japan sign unfair treaties so did all of the other colonial countries. Japan’s acts of aggression and colonist behavior was a direct attempt to mimic its own colonizers in order to demonstrate its power and she’d those powers. Also parts of Korea were also controlled , specifically ports that were used by Russia as their only warm water port. So technically both those countries should fall under the category of partial European control or colonization.
